Born in Arsos
" Arsos a timeless, untamed, pure living community, with an ancient tradition and heritage."
Arsos is one of the great wine villages of Cyprus, built in stone on the southern limestone slopes of the Troodos mountain range. Its high altitude gives cool nights and a long mild sunny ripening period for its Mavro variety vines, famous for their unique flavour and their high natural antioxidant content.
Our grapes are sourced from our own vineyards and the method is unchanged: select, crush, ferment naturally, make wine, transfer to 'mother' culture seeded terracotta jars and age in the quiet of our cellar until our vinegar finds its balance. Nothing is added, nothing is rushed, nothing removed from its character.
Ancient roots
The Mavro grape (Vitis vinifera rootstock) has been cultivated on the terraces of Arsos for centuries, shaping the village's wine and vinegar culture.
The village
Arsos sits in the Limassol wine region at 900 metres above sea level, with its stone houses and vineyards framed by the Troodos Mountains.
10+ years
For over a decade we have been producing and bottling our natural vinegars from our own harvest, for our own use.
Today
We are sharing our pleasure with the public. Every vinegar bottle leaves Arsos exactly as tradition dictates: pure and chemicals free.
